Vogel to sign with Penn State

West Liberty-Salem running standout Meghan Vogel is set to become a Nittany Lion.

Vogel has verbally committed to Penn State. She plans to sign with the Division I program next Wednesday during a ceremony at the school.

Vogel is the defending Division III state champion in the 1,600 and placed fifth at the Division III state cross country meet last fall.

She also seriously considered Butler University.
