Anderson wins title for Tigers at LCC

West Liberty-Salem freshman Trevor Anderson made a name for himself in wrestling Saturday after winning the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbird Invitational.

The LCC tournament is one of the biggest in the state for Division III teams and is often a measuring stick for wrestlers who hope to reach the state tournament.

Anderson, who was third at the junior high state meet last season, upset several standout wrestlers to win the Thunderbird on Saturday.
