A 35-24 loss to Urbana, which included a two-point fourth quarter, was tough to stomach for Bellefontaine’s boys basketball team Tuesday night.
The Chiefs looked helpless on the offensive end for the final 10 minutes of the game against the Hillclimbers’ intense man-to-man defense.
Bellefontaine will try to rebound from that lackluster effort Friday when Kenton Ridge pays a visit to the BHS gymnasium.
“We have to do try and minimize our mistakes,” said Chieftain head coach Henry Stolly. “We are going through a stretch where we have not taken care of the basketball very well. We have to execute better and get the ball in positions where we can score.”
