The Bellefontaine boys and girls bowling teams traveled to Westgate Lanes in Lima on Monday for the Pioneer Classic.
The Chieftain boys finished ninth out of 20 teams, while the girls were seventh among 14 squads.
Roman Miller had a three-game series of 632 to lead the BHS boys. Miller rolled games of 170, 232 and 230. Devin Legge contributed a 625 series (214, 203, 208).
Bellefontaine’s girls made the cut after the first round and advanced to the baker roll-off, but the Chiefs loss to Versailles.
