Five wrestlers take first for Ben Logan
Benjamin Logan’s wrestling team handled the competition Friday and Saturday at the North Union Invitational and came home with a tournament title.
The Raiders earned the championship trophy with 242 points. They had five champions and seven other placers.
Marion Pleasant took the runner-up spot with 205 points, Centerburg was third with 195 points, Buckeye Central was fourth with 180 points and host North Union was fifth with 160 points.
“We wrestled well the whole tournament,” said Ben Logan head coach Tony Grant. “Everyone scored points for us and it was a good weekend for confidence building.”
