Triad's girls basketball team hit seven three-pointers in the first half and went on to grab a 60-52 win over Bellefontaine in a non-league contest Wednesday.
The Cardinals led 36-25 at halftime and 50-31 after three periods.
Bellefontaine made a late charge to cut the Triad lead to single digits, but it was not enough to catch the Cardinals.
Triad is now 10-4 on the season and the Chiefs drop to 10-5.
Dayna Ober and Anna McKenzie each scored 15 points for the Cardinals, while Jazmyn Haley led Bellefontaine with a game-high 18 points.
