West Liberty-Salem’s boys basketball team held on for a 51-49 victory over host Springfield Catholic Central on Friday in Ohio Heritage Conference action.
The Tigers (7-1) have won seven straight games. They remain unbeaten in OHC play at 5-0.
WL-Salem held a 17-12 advantage after the first quarter and the Tigers led 22-19 at halftime.
The Tigers created some breathing room in the third quarter, pushing their advantage to 10 points at 38-28.
