U.S. Olympic snowboarder Louie Vito returns to his home town this weekend to host his annual rail jam Saturday at Mad River Mountain.

The ninth annual Louie Vito Rail Jam is expected to attract riders from several states. Registration is from noon until 2 p.m.
The rail jam begins at 2 p.m., with divisions for ages 10 to 13, 14 to 17 and 18-and-over. Overall champions will be entered to win a trip to Windells Snowboard Camp. Many other prizes will be handed out following the awards ceremony.
Vito, who recently finished second in the Dew Tour event, will be available for autographs from 1 until 3 p.m. in the loft area. A fireworks show is set for 9:45 p.m.
The entry fee is $10 or a non-perishable food item. All money and food items will be donated to a local food pantry.
