Bellefontaine’s boys bowling team came away with a win over Sidney on Monday in a non-league match.
The Chieftain boys edged past the Yellow Jackets 2,226-2,198, while the BHS girls lost 2,173-1,513.
Cody Hullinger powered the Bellefontaine boys with games of 223 and 247 for a 470 series. Cale Sterling rolled a 226 game and a 389 series and Joey Jacobs had a 187 game and 362 series.
Allie Skelly led the BHS girls with games of 166 and 178 for a 344 series.
In junior varsity action, Sidney won both matches. The Yellow Jackets took the boys match 1,784-1,413 and won the girls match 1,454-1,245.
Hannah Hall sparked the BHS girls with a 255 series.
Raiders fall to Stebbins
Stebbins boys and girls bowling teams swept visiting Benjamin Logan on Monday at Pla-Mor Lanes in a Central Buckeye Conference meeting.
The Indians won the boys match 2,723-2,544 and also won the girls match, but a score was not available for Stebbins. The Raider girls did shoot their highest score of the season with a 2,019.
Leading the Raider boys was David Miller with games of 216 and 229 for a 445 series. Logan Wenger rolled a pair of 190 games and Kam Newland had a 202 game.
Becca Crum paced Ben Logan’s girls with a 202 game. Danielle Jones had a 185 game, Alyssa Smucker had a 165 game and Deeandra Carpenter had a 148 game.
