Grant, Raiders achieve program milestone

When a program is successful and wins begin to pile up, it is sometimes easy to forget just how many there are.

Benjamin Logan’s wrestling program has enjoyed a long run of success over the years. The one thing that the Raiders pride themselves on more than anything, though, is winning dual meets.

That is why the Raiders’ latest accomplishment struck me as special.

On Thursday, Ben Logan surpassed the 200th win mark in dual meets with victories over West Carrollton and Fairborn. The Raiders now have a 201-40 dual meet record. That is an impressive mark for any program.

“I believe it demonstrates consistency in the program,” said head coach Tony Grant. “That when you wrestle Ben Logan, you know you are going to get a good match.”
