Turnovers cost Lakers in loss to Wildcats

Indian Lake’s inability to take care of the basketball resulted in the team’s third straight loss Monday night.

The Lakers committed 23 turnovers en route to a 65-53 defeat at the hands of host Kenton in a girls non-league basketball game.

Indian Lake drops to 2-3 on the season.

“Turnovers were the difference,” said Indian Lake head coach Tim McMahon. “We did not take care of the ball and that led to some easy baskets for them.”
