Bellefontaine’s boys and girls bowling teams each won a tri-match Tuesday against Benjamin Logan and Northeastern at T-P Lanes.
The Chieftains won the boys match with 2,646, the Raiders were second with 2,420 and the Jets were third with 1,795.
In the girls match, Bellefontaine held on to the top spot 1,928-1,858 over Ben Logan. Northeastern finished third with 1,606.
Cody Hullinger paced the BHS boys with games of 195 and 225 for a 420 series, while Devin Legge had a game of 191. Dylan Legge added a game of 183 and Cale Sterling had a game of 180.
For the Raiders, Weston Easter rolled games of 213 and 169 for a 382 series and Logan Wenger rolled games of 193 and 168 for a 361 series. David Miller chipped in with a 187 game.
The Chieftain girls were led by Haleigh Stafford with games of 182 and 166 for a 348 series. Allie Skelly added games of 160 and 168 for a 328 series.
Danielle Jones powered the Ben Logan girls with games of 233 and 170 for a 403 series and Becca Crum had games of 168 and 156 for a 324 series.
Tiger bowlers split with Springfield
West Liberty-Salem’s girls bowling team grabbed a win over host Springfield on Tuesday, while the boys team fell to the Wildcats.
The Tiger girls held on for a 2,116-2,045 victory as the boys team lost 2,724-,2098.
Codi McNutt powered the WL-Salem girls with a 225 game and had a 445 series. Megann Boyd added a 179 game and rolled a 337 series, Emily Crook tallied a 282 series, while Natalie Evans and Kelli Kendall had a 209 series.
For the Tiger boys, Garret Rudasill fired a 231 game and finished with a 402 series, Phil Davis and Reese Shafer combined for a 301 series and Justin Dallas and Ben Cummins also rolled a 301 series.
