Raiders’ Reule lands District 9 coach of the year honor

Five local players earn first-team awards

Benjamin Logan head volleyball coach Alli Reule and her squad made waves this season on the court and she was rewarded by being named the District 9 Division II coach of the year.

Five local girls earned first-team District 9 honors, while nine other players received either second team or honorable mention recognition.

In her second year as head coach of the Raiders, Reule led her squad to an outright Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division championship with a perfect 10-0 mark and a spot in the Division II sectional final.

Area players taking home Division II first-team accolades were Ben Logan’s Ciarra Wirick and Marissa Wilbur, Indian Lake’s Claire Maier and Bellefontaine’s Kameren Haley.
