Parker, Grandi to make local visit with Wooster squad

A pair of former local high school volleyball standouts will be back in the area today and Saturday with their College of Wooster volleyball team.

WL-Salem graduate Paige Parker and Indian Lake product Devin Grandi will be competing for the Fighting Scots in the NCAC tournament at Wittenberg.

Wooster takes on Denison at 4 p.m. today. If the Fighting Scots win, they will play at noon Saturday. If they lose, they will play at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Grandi, a senior, is leading her team with 41 aces. She is currently ranked fifth in the NCAC in that category.

A junior, Parker is leading Wooster in kills with 380. She is second in the conference standings for kills per set.
