Junior Chieftains down Little Lakers

The Bellefontaine Junior Chieftains dropped the Indian Lake Little Lakers 38-16 in a recent varsity matchup.

The Junior Chieftains are now 5-1 on the season and play Ben Logan next week for the league championship.

Jack Clement powered Bellefontaine with three touchdown receptions and had a touchdown run, D.J. McDonald had a touchdown run, Isaac Newman had a touchdown run and a two-point conversion run and Major Stratton had three touchdown passes.

Defensively, Brayden Fazier, Caleb Gonterman, Austin Parker and Maguire Stratton all led the team.

HILLIKER YMCA FLAG FOOTBALL

Green team gets win

The Green team picked up a win in recent Hilliker YMCA Flag Football action.

Ethan Yoder recorded an interception and took it back for a touchdown and also had a two-point conversion catch. Camden Spriggs also had a 50-yard touchdown run.
