Brisson sets rushing mark in Raiders’ win

Junior Jeremy Brisson exploded for 342 rushing yards on Friday and set the Benjamin Logan single-season rushing record as the Raiders marched past host Greenon 47-7 in Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division football action.

The Raiders move their record to 4-5 overall and 3-1 in the CBC Mad River division, while the Knights fall to 3-6, 0-4.

Brisson was dominant on Friday carried 29 times and had three touchdowns. He now has 1,643 yards and 16 touchdowns for the season.

The previous record was 1,483 yards set by Landon McKirahan during the 2010 season.

“Jeremy is an unbelievable kid,” said Ben Logan head coach Carleton Cotner. “He is an absolute hammer. His legs are always going and he is in outstanding shape with great core strength and balance.
