The Lakers improve their record to 9-8 and advance to play against host Bellefontaine (10-3-3) in the semifinals on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Hillclimbers end their season at 7-8-2.
“We did what we needed to tonight,” said Indian Lake boys head coach Jon Shoffstall. “It is a great feeling to get a tournament victory and continue on.
“We got out to a quick start and never looked back. The guys played well tonight. We passed the ball, we found the open man and finished pretty well. It is a nice feeling to win the final game the seniors will play at home and I’m happy for our program.”
