Bellefontaine High School graduate Zach Vermillion and Indian Lake product Tyler Maddox recently met on the gridiron as college football players. Maddox and his Ohio Dominican team hosted Vermillion's Ashland squad on Saturday, Oct. 6. Vermillion (number 73, front page photo) is a junior offensive lineman for Ashland, while Maddox (number 88, above) is a senior wide receiver for Ohio Dominican. Ashland won the game 44-21.
