Ben Logan squads take sixth at Triad Cross Country Invite

Benjamin Logan’s boys and girls cross country teams came away with sixth-place finishes Tuesday at the Triad Invitational.

Tecumseh won both the boys and girls races. The Arrows won the boys race with 34 points, Northeastern was second with 57 and North Union was third with 84. The Raiders took sixth with 160 points and host Triad was 10th with 264 points.

In the girls race, the Arrows held off London 54-63 to take the top spot. Mechanicsburg came in third with 73, North Union and Northeastern tied for fourth with 87, but the Wildcats won the tiebreaker. The Ben Logan girls were sixth with 109.

Logan Dunn led the Raider girls with an 18th-place finish in a time of 23:01.

Finishing in the top 40 for Ben Logan were Caitlyn Morgan in 27th (23:57), Lauren Johns in 28th (23:58), Ashley Gearheart in 31st (24:22), Krystal Null in 32nd (24:27), Amanda Frasure in 37th (24:46), Morgan Allen in 39th (25:09) and Carli Henman in 40th (25:11).

Also in action were Kelsey Baughman in 45th (25:42), Jessica Skidmore in 53rd (28:06), Madison Leis in 54th (28:13) and Jessica Goff in 60th (31:19).

Leading the Ben Logan boys were Adam Kavanagh in 20th (19:24) and Wyatt Warren in 25th (19:35), while Cameron Johnson took 36th (20:05).

Rounding out the rest of the Raiders were Trent Rees in 49th (20:41.3), Troy Sellhorst in 50th (20:41.8), Sean Daugherty in 52nd (20:57), Logan Glauner in 62nd (21:46), Connor Wilkins in 70th (22:20) and Matt Kavanagh in 71st (22:22).

Triad’s boys top finisher was Chad Reisinger in 45th (20:35). The rest of the team saw Ethan Davis in 74th (22:35), Tanner Stengel in 75th (22:45), Kegan Anderson in 81st (24:57) and Zack Moore in 84th (25:25).

For Triad’s girls, Alyssa Ferguson was 21st (23:20) and Miranda Linscott was 58th (30:49).
