The Chieftains boost their record to 5-3 overall and 5-1 in the CBC, while the Lakers drop to 1-8, 0-6.
Even though Indian Lake has yet to win a league game, Lakers’ head coach Skip Oliver was encouraged by what he saw on the field Wednesday.
“Bellefontaine’s a very good team and well coached, but I know they had to work for everything they got,” said Oliver. “The score does not come close to how well our girls played. This was the best game we played all year and I am so proud of them.”
