Tippecanoe’s football team displayed a talented offense against visiting Indian Lake on Friday and rolled to a 47-7 win in Central Buckeye Conference crossover action.
The win helps the Red Devils march to a 4-0 overall mark, while the Lakers drop to 1-3.
Tippecanoe piled up 449 yards of total offense in a balanced effort, with 249 rushing yards and 200 passing yards.
The Red Devils jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and then added two more scores in the second quarter for a 28-0 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, Tippecanoe’s defense managed to record a safety for a 30-0 advantage.
The Red Devils added two more touchdowns and a field goal in the fourth quarter, making the score 47-0.
Indian Lake reached the end zone in the fourth quarter when Montel Morgan returned a kick 90 yards for a score.
Offensively for Indian Lake, Christian Grider threw for 123 yards and Morgan had 61 receiving yards on seven catches.
Indian Lake hosts Bellefontaine on Friday in a local CBC crossover game.
