The Cardinals improve to 1-1 on the season, while the Pirates drop to 0-2.
Triad lost a heartbreaker 40-33 to Indian Lake in Week 1, but head coach Payton Printz made sure his squad was ready to go in Week 2.
“We told the guys to just worry about Triad,” said Printz. “We established ourselves offensively and defensively. We wanted to shut their guys down and I felt we were able to do that.
“I thought our skill kids showed what they were capable of doing when given the opportunity tonight.”
