Treasure Marie Neer, 47, of Marysville, died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her home with her husband at her side, following a long journey with cancer.
She was born Nov. 17, 1965, in Santa Monica, Calif., to the late Sherman and Evelyn Zerkle.
Survivors include her husband of nearly one year, Steven E. Neer, to whom she was married on May 31, 2012, at the Marysville Vineyard Church, by the Rev. Steve Wood; her husband’s children, Whitney and Olivia Neer, both of Urbana; a sister, Tracy of Florida; a brother, Scott (Phyllis) Zerkle, Ballground, Ga.; a brother-in-law, Tim (Jill) Neer, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was an associate with Honda for the past 25 years and formerly worked at the Bellefontaine Pizza Hut. She was a faithful member of the Marysville Vineyard Church and was a 1983 graduate of Graham High School.
Treasure cared deeply for her husband and family and friends, and especially enjoyed the companionship of her cats, Xavier, Little Man and Shiloh.
The Rev. Steve Wood will officiate a funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Marysville Vineyard Church, where visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Burial is at Oakdale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marysville Vineyard Church or Loving Care Hospice.
