Angelina ‘Angel’ Dorsten-Graham

Angelina “Angel” Dorsten-Graham, 45, of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, April 17, 2013, surrounded at home by those who loved and cherished her. Angel will be remembered as a brave fighter who refused to surrender to cancer for as long as possible.

Throughout her life and in her struggle with illness, Angel was selfless and resilient, concerned more for the care and feelings of others than herself. And whether at home or at work, Angel showed her passion for integrity by always doing her best. In her garden, and in flowers especially, she loved cultivating life and beauty.

She was born in Coldwater in 1967 to Linda Eberst Dorsten of Fredonia, N.Y., and Fred J. Dorsten of Columbus.

In 2007, Angel was happily married in Bellefontaine to her soul mate, Jeffrey L. Graham of New Carlisle, who survives.

She attended The Ohio State University after graduating from Westerville North High School in 1986, where the halls were decorated with her school-spirited art murals. She was currently a property and casualty agent for State Farm Insurance in Bellefontaine and Springfield. Her colleagues will remember her as a tireless and dedicated employee.

Survivors also include a daughter, Amanda M. Wolfe of Fairborn; a son, Jeremy J. Wolfe of East Liberty; a sister, Aimee-Marie Dorsten of Pittsburgh; aunts and uncles, Cathy Morrison of Coldwater, Larry and Melina Eberst of Greenville and Dale and Kim Eberst of Strongsville; cousins, Christina and Paul Nehring of Englewood and Toni Siefring of Celina; stepfather, Larry Hotchkiss of North East, M.D.; stepmother, Lisa Dorsten; half-sisters, Andria, Melissa and Sara of Columbus; stepgrandmother, Edna Eberst of Greenville. Her three cats, Blueberry, Blackberry and Misty, and gerbil, Mr. Squiggles, will miss her also.

Visitation is two hours prior to a service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar, and Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle.
