William Warren “Bill” Ellis III, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Darby, Pa., on Jan. 23, 1941, the first of nine children to the late William Warren Jr. and Anna Dorothy Strawley Ellis.
He is survived by daughters, Barbara Kelbaugh of Maryland and Kelly Ellis of Delaware; sons, Warren Ellis of Bellefontaine and Bill Ellis of Maryland; six grandchildren; and his former spouse, Diane Ellis James; and siblings residing in the Philadelphia area.
He was a sales director with Maguire Products in Aston, Pa., where he retired in 2007.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he served as an air traffic controller.
He was a well-liked man in the community where he walked eight miles a day.
His body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
