Bernard Andrews, 88, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born in Stokes Township on Feb. 27, 1925, a son of the late Ross and Emma Reinhart Andrews. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Forest and Roger Andrews.
On Dec. 14, 1944, he married the former Ida Rose Miller in New Hampshire, Ohio, and she survives, along with two sons, Larry (Brenda) Andrews and David (Patsy) Andrews, both of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Debra Andrews of Weyerhaeuser, Wis.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A 1943 graduate of New Hampshire School, he was a member of the New Hampshire United Methodist Church and was very active in the Auglaize County Farm Bureau.
He was a retired farmer and drove bus for Waynesfield-Goshen Schools for 25 years prior to retirement.
Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield, and one hour prior to a funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hampshire United Methodist Church. Burial is in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire.
