Jeffrey B. Neeley, 47, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Lima on Jan. 25, 1966, a son of Shirley Shotts Darcy, who survives in Lakeview, and the late Gerald D. Neeley.
Survivors include his wife, the former Valerie “Starr” Cornwell; sons, Derrick, Jason and John Neeley, Larry Hindman and Richard “Dinkey” Hindman, all of Bellefontaine; two grandchildren, Myrissa Neeley and Tristan Hindman; sisters, Bobbie Jo (Tim) Anderson of Bellefontaine and Rose Neeley of Florida; brothers, Tom Neeley and Scott (Sheri) Neeley, both of Lakeview; many nieces and nephews; his best friend, who was like a brother, Dewey McClain of Bellefontaine; and friends, Ed and Dawn Burkhammer of Cable.
He loved motorcycles, especially Boss Hoss and Harley-Davidson. He loved hot rods or anything with a motor, but his favorite was Mopar and Chevy.
He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Norm McClain conducts a funeral at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home of Bellefontaine, where visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. prior.
