Mary Jeanette Yoder, 86, formerly of West Liberty, passed away Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013, at Worthington Christian Village, Columbus.
She was born in West Liberty on April 20, 1926, to the late John L. and Bertha K. Krabill Yoder.
On June 7, 1947, she married Daniel J. Yoder in West Liberty and he preceded her in death in 2001. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Eric D. Yoder in 2009 and Gregory A. Yoder in 2012; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include children, Joan (Peter) Macrae of Worthington and David (Mari) Yoder of Archbold; eight grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn (Maynard) Sauder of Archbold; and many nieces and nephews.
A member of the South Union Mennonite Church, she retired from the Bellefontaine City Schools where she was a teacher for 25 years.
She loved spending time with her family.
Burial is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty, prior to a funeral at 11 a.m. at the South Union Mennonite Church, officiated by Pastor Jeff Bartlett. Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, West Liberty.
