Patricia Ann Dyer, 80, of Kenton, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born in Bellefontaine on June 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Vinton LeRoy and Helen Henning Detrick.
On May 26, 1950, she married W.M. Thomas Dyer and he died April 30, 2008. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Detrick.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Ron) Nines of Columbus; three grandchildren, Benjamin (Melissa) Nines, Sarah (Jeremy) Jorgenson and Tray Nines; four great-grandchildren, Bridget Nines, Alexandra Nines, Jacob Jorgenson and Samuel Jorgenson; a sister, Ruthanne (Clifford) Thomas of Texas; two brothers, Paul Detrick of Sidney and James Detrick of Columbus, special friend, Lori Bolen of Kenton; and honorary great-granddaughter, Callie Bolen of Kenton.
A 1950 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, she worked at the Hardin County Treasurer’s Office and Logan County Department of Human Services.
She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ and was a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Pastor Neil Partington officiates a funeral at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Johns United Church of Christ, Kenton. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home, Kenton.
