Mary Katherine Collins, 82, of DeGraff, passed away at 1:54 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones at Mary Rutan Hospital.

She was born in Troy on Sept. 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Michael and Orpha Ora Clawson Catalano.

On March 6, 1947, she married Blane J. Collins in Troy and he preceded her in death May 18, 1997.  

Survivors include a son, Blain E. (Sara) Collins of DeGraff; two daughters, Sharon (Jim) Bell of Black, Mo., and Susan (Lynn) Niswonger of DeGraff; grandchildren, Skip Collins of Troy, Jamie Bell of St. Louis, and Andrea Burk and Micah Niswonger, both of DeGraff; great-grandchildren, Caylib Collins, Kierra Collins, Kaden Burk, Samantha Niswonger and Myles Burk, along with several other stepgrandchildren.

She will be remembered as a loving and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

A funeral is at the convenience of family.
