Jerry Glenn Henry, 71, of Ashley, died at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born July 26, 1941, in North Lewisburg, a son of the late George and Opal Mae Grubbs Henry. He also was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Charles and George Henry, a sister; Nancy McKinster; and two grandchildren.
On Dec. 9, 1958, he married Wanda Lee Wright in Springfield and she survives, along with three sons, Gary (Tina) Henry of Ostrander, Randy Henry of Bellefontaine and Clinton Henry of New Port Richey, Fla.; a daughter, Juanita (Gary) Weeks of DeGraff; three sisters, Clara McKinster of Springfield and Mary Kay Witt and Patsy Lemons, both of Russells Point; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He enjoyed his occupation as a commercial roofer, and enjoyed fishing and race cars.
The Rev. Kymberly James officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial is in the Jerome Township Cemetery, Jerome.
Memorial contributions may be made to the DeGraff United Methodist Church and the Logan County Cancer Society.
