Beverly Jean Teeple, 80, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012.
She was born in Van Wert on Jan. 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Orval and Marcile Mottinger Stuckey. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Reneé Carl; and sister-in-law, Shirley Stuckey.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Smith; a brother, Bud Stuckey; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A Lima South High School graduate, she was employed by American States Insurance Company and was transferred to Springfield in 1981 as a bodily-injury and general liability supervisor. She was a Certified Professional Insurance Woman and an Associate in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America.
She was a member of Chapter AZ PEO Sisterhood, Young Woman’s Mission, Lagonda Chapter DAR and Clark County Historical Society.
For several years, she was a volunteer in the library archives at the Clark County Heritage Center.
Her remains will be cremated and services are private.
