Theda Kindell Bauer, 94, of Quitman, Ga., passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in Quitman.
She was born Jan. 10, 1918, a daughter of the late Newton S. and Ruth Wagner Kindell.
On March 6, 1938, in Bellefontaine, she married Edward Bauer and he preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Walter S. and Augustus Edward Kindell, sister-in-law, Florence Kindell and nieces, Kay Ann Meredith and Virginia Eastridge.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville, Ga.
Survivors include a son, Douglas J. (Judy) Bauer of Thomasville, Ga.; grandchildren, Melanie and Brian Bauer; sister, Ruth (Fred) Meredith of Bellefontaine; a sister-in-law, Betty Peters Kindell of Bellefontaine; nieces and nephews, Dick Kindell of Springboro, Jon (Becki) Kindell of DeBary, Fla., Mike (Kathy) Kindell of Hilliard, Tom (Mona) Kindell of Greenville, Dave (Marnie) Kindell and Beth Kindell, both of Brookville, and Cathy (Edward) Wallace and Theda (Mike) Moore, both of Bellefontaine; many great-nieces and nephews and a nephew-in-law, Felix Eastridge, of London, Ky.
The Rev. F. Michael Valentine officiates a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church, Bellefontaine.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charities of the donors’ choices and to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Suite G100, Dayton, OH 45449.
Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, assisted the family with arrangements.
