Eunice Irene White

Eunice Irene White, 88, of DeGraff, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Mary Rutan Hospital.

She was born in Richlands, Va., on May 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Reuben Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Oquinn Cordle.

Her first husband, Robert Thomas White Sr. preceded her in death March 21, 1967. She then married George Isaac White and he passed away Aug. 13, 1982. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Auflick; a son, Rocky White; five sisters; a brother; and two sons-in-law, Bill Auflick and Ray Schrader.

Survivors include her children, Patty (Ted) Swainhart of Perrysville, Tammie Sue Schrader of Loudonville, Bob White of Bellefontaine, Anna (Tony) Coder of Bellefontaine, Michael (Cindy) White of DeGraff and Tommie (Keith) Ellison of Texarkana, Ark.; grandchildren, Matt (Jen), Clay (Missy), Eric (Tracy), Brian, Robin, KayDee, Travis, Shannon (Brett), Mike (Sara), Sean and Chad (Ame) Williams; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Wade, Nick, Lexi, Jay, Bruce, Andria, Michael, Hannah, Ariana, Dylan, Zoe, Tyler, Bee, Hunter, Daltin and Josie; great-great-grandchildren, Austin and Aiden; stepgrandchildren, Lisa Perry and Tony (Pragati) Coder; great-stepgrandchildren, Bryce, Alex, Nikhil and Madison; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was a homemaker and attended Big Springs United Methodist Church. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables for her family, whom she loved very much.

Pastor Doug Thompson conducts a funeral at 2 p.m. Friday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where calling is two hours prior. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
