Kevin Clay Kaylor, 56, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at his home.
He was born on July 24, 1957, the only child of Marjorie Bowman Shultz, who survives, and the late William J. “Lefty” Kaylor.
Survivors include a son, Aaron of Bellefontaine; daughter, Kristen of Lewistown; a half-brother, Eric Schultz of Florida; two grandchildren, Dalton Hines and Robin Cook.
Kevin is also survived by the love of his life and devoted longtime companion with whom he cherished time together, his best friend, and fiancée of 11.5 years, Libby Allen Krauss, whom he planned to marry on his 57th birthday, July 24. Also surviving are Libby’s two daughters, Hannah Allen and Katilyn “Kati” Krauss, both of Bellefontaine, whom Kevin cared and loved as his own, along with their family pet, Harley.
Kevin was a tool and die maker by trade, and a blessing to all who knew him and to those he chose to love.
A memorial gathering is from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 23, at the First Assembly of God Church, S. U.S. Route 68, Bellefontaine, with pastor John Musgrave officiating.
