W. “Craig” Alexander, 59, of North Lewisburg, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014, in Riverside Methodist Hospital Columbus.
He was born in Springfield on May 1, 1955.
A 1973 graduate of Triad High School, Craig was formerly employed with Siemens. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially working in the yard or exercising his dogs, Buddy, Lilly and Zoey, while he rode on his scooter.
He loved spending time spoiling his grandkids or just joking with his friends.
He will be sadly missed by his family, including his wife of 24 years, Dawn Watson Alexander; his parents, Jim and Pat Roosa Alexander of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his children, Jenni Alexander of Blacklick and Matt (Mandy) Alexander of Zanesfield; his grandchildren, J.C. and Morgan; his siblings, Beth Lewis of Mechanicsburg, Sue Rowland of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jeff Alexander of Springfield; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, where the Rev. Philip Bougher conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19. Burial follows in Jenkins Chapel Cemetery, Cable.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Measles Animal Haven, Pit Bull Rescue, P.O. Box 4142, Dublin OH 43016.
