Margaret Mae Woods, 79, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at 7 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014, at the Fairhaven Nursing Home.
Margaret was born in Huntsville on Oct. 3, 1934, to Roe and Bertha Godwin Cooke.
On Sept. 19, 1958, Margaret married Harold W. Woods and he preceded her in death Oct. 4, 1974.
Survivors include children, Teresa, Carl and Daniel; several grandchildren; sisters, Mary Thomas of Harrod and Ruth Ann (Mark) Fissel of Kenton; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and very good friend, Barbara Dowell.
Margaret had attended Belle Center High School. She was a member of the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church and had also attended the First Presbyterian Church in Sidney.
A homemaker and caregiver, she loved to sew, embroider and crochet. She had a soft heart for small animals, especially puppies and kittens.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, and will be deeply missed by all.
The Rev. Diana Circelli officiates a funeral at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, where visitation is one hour prior. Burial is at the Dayton VA National Cemetery, Dayton.
