Cathleen A. German, 64, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born in Bellefontaine on Nov. 25, 1949, a daughter of the late Phillip and Ruth Bell Lantz.
On Aug. 27, 1970, she married Richard L. German in Monroe, Mich., and he preceded her in death Sept. 12, 1983. She also was preceded in death by her nephew, Ronald Murray.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Karin) German of Bellefontaine; two grandchildren, Aaron and Alexander German, both of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Christine Murray and Cathleen’s twin sister, Charlene Forsythe, both of Bellefontaine; two nieces, Kimberly (Brad) Fisher of Springhills and Mary Jones of Bellefontaine.
Cathleen was a 1969 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. She worked in the assembly department at Honda of America Mfg. at Marysville from 1987 until 2009, when she retired.
She was a member of the West Liberty Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed being involved. She loved her family and especially the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Pastor Keith Landis officiates a funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where visitation is two hours prior. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
