Ronnie L. “Cowboy” Bailey died at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Bellefontaine on March 11, 1962, to the late Raymond and Sylvia Jones Bailey.
On May 18, 2005, he married the former Louisa A. Holtzberger in Kenton and she survives in Kenton, along with stepchildren, Cristy (Graig) Newland of Ridgeway and John C. (Amy) Mullins of Belle Center; four grandchildren, Sierra Harris, Haley Roberts, Olivia Newland and Thomas Newland; two brothers, Russell L. (Tamie) Bailey of High Point, N.C., and Robert L. Bailey of Kenton; several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
Ronnie was an employee of Robinson Fin Machines of Kenton.
He was a member of the Kenton Moose Family Center, AMVETS Post 1994 and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy as a Navy SEAL.
Pastor Larry Brown officiates a funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, where visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, casual dress. Burial is in Grove Cemetery, with military graveside service by AMVETS Post 1994 of Kenton.
