Judith Louise Miller, 70, of Douglasville, Ga., passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell, Ga.
She was born July 24, 1943, a daughter of the late John Edward Linkinhoker and the late Betty Mae Linkinhoker. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anthony Miller.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Ann Cornwell (Nigel) Healey of Carrollton, Ga.; grandchildren, Desiree Healey of Douglasville, Ga., and Colin Healey of Carrollton, Ga.; sisters, Joann (Gary) Castle and Shirley Kiggins, both of Huntsville, Carol Schoff of Sarasota, Fla., Ruth (Dave) Hardman of East Liberty and Janie Linkinhoker of Dublin; special friend, Mike Philpott of Douglasville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
She waitressed in food service at Shoney’s and later Ryan’s restaurant for 20 years. She attended New Covenant United Methodist Church in Douglasville and was a member of the kitchen crew.
A funeral was conducted Feb. 27 at New Covenant United Methodist Church, Douglasville, Ga.
