Betty Ann Snell, 90, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 10:08 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Green Hills Center, West Liberty.
She was born in DeGraff on March 24, 1923, to the late William Sherman and Hazel Irene Condiff Watson.
On June 6, 1942, she married Donald Edward Snell and he preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1990. She also was preceded in death by three brothers.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Holder of Bellefontaine; two sons, Donald (Cheryl) Snell Jr. of Belle Center and David (Barb) Snell of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Brian Holder of Lakeview, Heidi Robb of Bellefontaine, Barry Holder and Bradley Holder, both of California, Kaylie (fiancé Jaycee Murray) Snell and Shannon Snell, both of Bellefontaine; two step-granddaughters, Ann and Lisa; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.
Pastor Jeffory Willetts officiates a funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, where visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
