Heather Anne “Boonie” Boone Shaw, 39, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 12:04 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born in Bellefontaine on Aug. 15, 1974, to John and Cindy Maxwell Boone, who survive in Bellefontaine.
On June 18, 2005, she married Sean Shaw and he also survives, along with two sisters, Jennifer (Greg) Shaw and Danielle Tackett, both of Bellefontaine; a brother Shawn (Samantha) Boone of Bellefontaine; maternal grandparents, Sherry and Judy Maxwell of Russells Point; paternal grandmother, Barbara Boone of Sidney; three stepchildren, Jenna Miller and Taylor Shaw, both of Bellefontaine, and Crue Shaw of Belle Center; her in-laws, Terry (Karen) Bartley and Kerry (Lisa) Shaw, both of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Claire Boone; a nephew Reiley Boone; and two uncles, Barry Maxwell and Jim Boone.
Heather had worked as a corrections officer for the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Honda Transmission, Honda Adecco and JCPenney. She was a 1994 Bellefontaine High School graduate and a member of the Indian Lake Community Church. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards.
Pastors Jim Ellington and Karen Blackburn officiate a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, where visitation is two hours prior to the funeral. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
