Georgenia P. Bosley-Huffman, 86, of Lakeview, passed away at 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in her home.
She was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Marion County, to the late George and Claudia P. Napp Berringer. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold T. Bosely; her second husband, Robert Huffman; sons, Ricky Lee Bosley and Larry Bosley; a daughter, Pat Wright; a granddaughter, Miranda Bosley; and siblings, Alfred, Evelyn and Audrey.
Survivors include two sons, Tom (Pam) Bosley of Dunkirk and David Bosely of Lakeview; three daughters, Linda Swavel of Upper Sandusky, Candy Carlton of Lakeview and Cathy (Ernie) Stiles of West Liberty; 11 grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
An LPN who practiced up to the age of 80, she served many at the various nursing homes in Upper Sandusky, Wyandot Memorial Hospital, and then spent many years at and retired from Heartland of Bellefontaine.
For hobbies, Georgenia was a skilled baker having blessed many with her baked treats. She also enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, gardening, and she will also be remembered for her love for her family, and those that she came in contact with, always putting them before herself.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial is in Grand Prairie Cemetery, Brush Ridge.
Visitations is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
