Judith Ann Church Scott, 69, of Urbana, died at 10:06 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana.
She was born in Bellefontaine on Jan. 28, 1944, a daughter of the late Leonard and Betty Jane Mabra Brown.
Judith, a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, had been employed at Grimes Mfg. Co., Drackett and Colepak. She enjoyed volunteering, especially at the Caring Kitchen, and playing bingo.
Survivors include her daughters, Loraine Church of Urbana and Margena (Eric) Barnes of Cincinnati; sons, Derron (Tamara) Church of Urbana and Gary (Cheryl) Church of Springfield; grandchildren Seth, Kiera, Sesha and Kyleigh; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Zayne; sisters, Jacqueline Jackson and Deborah Brown, and brothers, Leonard “Bub” Brown Jr. and Greg Brown, all of Bellefontaine.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Roscoe Kenyon “Kenny” Church and Daniel Scott; and sisters, Connie Whetsel and Berdetta Johnson.
Visitation is one hour prior to a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Walter & Smith Funeral Home, Urbana.
