Janet Mae Neal, 94, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 8, 2013, at her daughter’s residence.
She was born in Ridgeway on Oct. 3, 1919, to the late William “Orval” and Hazel “Glenna” Hogue Wilson.
On March 19, 1955, she married Doral C. Neal in Angola, Ind., and he preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2001. She was also preceded in death by brothers, William Edgar “Eddie” Wilson and Thomas Woodrow “Woody” Wilson; and a grandchild.
Janet is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Robert Hunter of Bellefontaine; two grandkittens; a brother, Robert I. (Norma) Wilson of Reynoldsburg; numerous cousins; special friends, Jim and Shirley King of Bellefontaine; and a lifelong friend Corilla Creviston of Bellefontaine.
Janet worked as the postmaster in Ridgeway prior to her marriage to Doral, and then became a housewife. She attended First Friends Church in Bellefontaine.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where Pastor Ken Neighoff officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will follow in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
