Teresa Marlene Blue King, 58, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Kenton and Bellefontaine, died at 3:52 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at the Oklahoma State University Medical Center.
She was born in Kenton on July 18, 1955, to Russell Lowell and Elizabeth Ann Hinkle Blue.
On Sept. 25, 1976, she married Ben King and he survives in Tulsa, along with his mother of Tennessee; two sons, Garrett (Lauren) King and Jonathan King, and a daughter, Sara (Jeff Watkins) King, all of Tulsa; two granddaughters, Amanda and Lillian; a brother, Russell (Judy) Blue of Kenton; a sister, Barbara Baum of Tennessee; a stepbrother, Kenneth Bottomfield of Tulsa; and her stepfather, Charles Bottomfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell; her grandparents, R. Lauren and Dorothy Blue, Ernest and Marjorie Columber and Leroy and Katherine Hinkle; and a nephew, Robert Baum.
She graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1973 and spent most of her life as a loving stay-at-home mother and grandmother.
A memorial service was conducted at the Moore Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, 2570 S. Harvard Ave., Tulsa, OK 74114.
