Frances Marie “Fritzi” Alltop Bowman, 41, of Marysville, died early Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at her parent’s home.
She was born in Marysville on July 20, 1972, to Patrick E. and Fritzi A. Young Alltop, who survive her, along with a son, Jesse Neate of Marysville; brother, Patrick R. Alltop of Marysville; uncles and aunts, Fred (Lucy) Young of Marysville, Ernie (Rosemary) Young of Marysville, Jeff (Jo) Young of Richwood, Keith (Rose) Alltop of Marysville, Mike (Susan) Alltop of Delaware and Beverly Alltop of Florida; and many other relatives, including great-aunt, Thelma Callicoat of Watkins, Owen and Mary Jo Bowman Sr. and Fred and Kay Bowman of North Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, Brant E. Bowman; and an uncle, Gary Alltop.
An accounting clerk at Honda R&D, she was a 1990 graduate of Marysville High School and attended Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.
A musician, she played saxophone during high school and was a self-taught guitarist. She also enjoyed quilting, antiquing, cooking and decorating.
She also was knowledgeable about classic cars and liked attending cruise-ins with her father.
A deeply devoted mother and homeschool parent, she was a woman of Christian faith and was inspired by the teachings of Charles Stanley and Joel Osteen.
Above all, she enjoyed being with her family and especially cherished time with her two nephews, Derrick and Dyllen Alltop.
Pastor Roger Williams officiates a funeral at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Underwood Funeral Home, where visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial is at Raymond Cemetery.
