Edna M. Wilcoxon Costello, 86, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in her residence. She was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Georgetown, a daughter of Mark and Etta Carrington Moore.
Mrs. Costello was retired from Siemens after 37 years of service. Edna loved flower and vegetable gardening, watching birds and above all else, her family. She was an amazing homemaker and loved to pick raspberries that she would later make into pies for her grandchildren’s birthdays and family dinners. She also loved to mushroom hunt and continued to do so into her 80s. Edna gave to several charities throughout her life. Her generosity was well-known to all those she gave a helping hand; if one could measure her generosity the list would be very long. Unconditional love is the legacy she left to all who knew her; she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Loretta (Dennis) Kramer, Linda (Fred) Davis and Cindy (Terry) Predmore; sons, Phillip Wilcoxon, Marvin (Peggy) Wilcoxon and Gary Wilcoxon; brother, Charles (Muriel) Moore; 26 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her former husbands; brothers, Jesse, Wilfred, Emery, Mark Jr. and James; sisters, Orzella and Audrey.
The funeral service is at noon Monday at Jennings Farley Funeral Home, 5591 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty. Pastor Mark Moore will officiate. Visitation is two hours prior to the service. Burial is in Highland Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to Universal Home Health and Hospice, 701 S. Main St., Bellefontaine OH 43311.
