Martha E. “Marty” Conner, 84, of Lakeview, died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Golden Living Center, Lima.
She was born in Wyandot County on April 11, 1929, to the late Walter Charles and Eva West Koehler.
She married Melvin Hudson and they later divorced. On Dec. 23, 1976, she married William L. “Bill” Conner and he preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by two brothers W. Charles Koehler and Giles Koehler; sister Eleanor Koehler; and a stepbrother Norman Koehler.
Surviving are son, Steven Paul (Beth) Hudson of Ashtabula; stepson, Dan Allen (Brenda) Conner of Columbus; two stepdaughters, Lori Sue (Tom) Flores of Jensen Beach, Fla., and Peggy Lynn Conner of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Martha was co-owner of the former Buckeye Inn in Kenton for several years and had been a waitress at the Huddle restaurant in Lima.
She was a 1947 graduate of Mt. Victory High School and a lifetime member of the Wolfcreek Grange.
A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, where visitation is one hour prior. Burial is at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
