Neil E. Roddy, 93, of London, Ohio, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, in his residence.
Neil was employed by the International Corporation in Springfield and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He had served as city treasurer for the city of London for 22 years and was very active in the Indian Lake community for many years, serving on various commissions there.
Survivors are his wife, Helen Morris Roddy; two sons, Lee (Sue) Roddy of Springfield and Jim (Ruth) Roddy of London; four grandchildren, Matthew (Holly) Roddy of Coatesville, Pa., Brent (Rachel) Roddy of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Jill (Sean) Culler of Denver and Chris (Stephanie) Roddy of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two stepgrandchildren, Robyn (Devin) Thomas of Springfield and Rhonda (Chad) Dunkley of London; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cole, Owen and Emma Roddy and Saxon and Olivia Culler; six great-stepgrandchildren, Billy, Katie, Colby and Tony Dunkley, and Gwyn and Seth Thomas; one half-brother, Paul (Suzy) Bussert of Columbus; one half-sister, Mary (Bob) Presnell of Columbus; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London, where a memorial service is at 1 p.m. Saturday.
